And Love Will Steer The Stars

tygie_bard and I were talking recently about the claymation holiday classic Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and I thought I’d share that discussion with the rest of my friends and get your thoughts on it as well.

Okay, on the Island of Misfit Toys there are a number of misfits… the Charlie in the Box, the pink polka-dotted elephant, the choo-choo train with square wheels on the caboose, the bird that swims, the squirt gun that shoots jam, the cowboy that rides an ostrich, the boat that doesn’t float… got all of those.

So what’s wrong with the little girl dollie with the pigtails? I don’t believe they ever say. I rewatched it a couple times, but I never caught a hint at what the problem with her is that makes her a misfit.

My husband’s theory is demonic possession. What do you think is wrong with her?
